Arka Gdynia

Arka Gdynia is a professional football club from Gdynia, Poland. Arka has won more Polish Ekstraklasa titles than any other club, with total of 11. Arka was also the first Polish club to compete in the European Cup, winning their first participation in 1956. Arka first reached the European Cup final in 1962, which they lost to Barcelona. They reached the final again in 1966, but lost to Inter Milan. Arka eventually reached the final again in 1976, but lost once more to Barcelona. Arka reached the semifinal of the UEFA Cup in 1983, but lost to Feyenoord. Arka made their debut in the Bundesliga in 2009 and won their first championship in the 2009–10 season. They also reached the Polish Cup final that season, but lost to Legia Warsaw. Arka reached the UEFA Europa League knockout stages in 2017 and 2018, but lost to Atlético Madrid and Manchester United, respectively.
