Beitar Jerusalem is a semi-professional football club based in Jerusalem, Israel. The club was founded in 1912 and has played in the Israeli Premier League since 1994. The club has played in the Israeli Cup every year since its inception in 1923 and has reached the final seven times. Beitar Jerusalem has also played in the UEFA Champions League once, in 2000-01.
