Blackburn Rovers Football Club is a professional football club based in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. The club was formed in 1875 as Blackburn Strollers, and played its first ever football match in 1879. Blackburn Rovers have played their home games at Ewood Park since 1895. The team qualified for their first ever major European competition, the UEFA Champions League, in 1992. Blackburn Rovers have also won the League Cup twice and the FA Cup twice. The team reached the UEFA Cup Final in 1995 and reached the Europa League Final in 2010.
