Wanderers
Bolton Wanderers Football Club is an English professional association football club, based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. The club was formed as Christ Church Football Club in 1874, and changed its name to Bolton Wanderers in 1876. The club has spent most of its history in the top tier of English football, first in the Football League, from 1888 to 1992, then in the Premier League from 1992 to 2013. Bolton Wanderers won the FA Cup in 1918 and 1957, the Football League Championship in 1914 and 1992, the Premier League in 1995 and 2001, and the FA Community Shield in 1985. The club’s traditional home kit consists of red and white striped shirts, white shorts and black socks.
