Gornik Z.

Gornik Z. is a Polish football club from Gornik Zdroj. The team currently plays in the Polish Second League.

The club was founded in 1932 as Gornik Zdrój-Zaręby. In 1948, the club changed its name to Gornik-Zdrój. In 1953, the club changed its name again to Gornik Z. After spending a number of years playing in the lower leagues of Polish football, the club made its first appearance in the Ekstraklasa in 2006, where they spent four seasons. In 2010, they were promoted to the Premier League. The following season, they again reached the Ekstraklasa, this time finishing in 11th place. After one season in the Premier League, the club was relegated back to the Ekstraklasa. In 2015, the club was renamed Gornik Z.
