Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C. (Hebrew: הפולאד תאלוג‎, lit. “TELAviv Football Club”), commonly known as Hapoel or simply as Tel Aviv, is an Israeli football club based in Tel Aviv.

Founded in 1898 as Maccabi Tel Aviv, the club played in the lower divisions of Israeli football until they were promoted to the top division in 1969. In its first season in the top division, Hapoel finished in second place, behind Maccabi Tel Aviv. In the 1971–72 season, the club won the Israeli league championship. The championship win gave the club promotion to the Israeli Premier League, where they played until the top division was disbanded in 2001. Hapoel then played in the Israeli Second Division until they were promoted back to the Israeli Premier League in the 2006–07 season. In the Premier League, the club has played continuously since then.

Hapoel has played in the European Cup twice. In the 1990–91 season, they reached the semi-finals of the competition, where they were knocked out by Galatasaray. In the 2009–10 season, Hapoel reached the quarter-finals of the competition, where they were beaten by Atlético Madrid.

The club’s home ground is Ramat Gan Stadium, which has a capacity of 38,000.
