Lohne

Lohne is a football club playing in the Oberliga Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Founded in 1907, Lohne played in the tier II Landesliga Niederrhein before joining the Oberliga in 1974. In 2006 they were relegated to the Verbandsliga, but returned to the Oberliga in 2007. From 1978 to 1985, Lohne played in the Erzgebirgliga, a tier II league. In 1986 they were promoted to the Oberliga, where they played until 2009. In 2009 they were promoted to the Regionalliga West, where they currently play.
