Millwall Football Club is a professional football club based in the White Hart Lane area of Tottenham, London, England. Millwall are currently members of the Championship, the second tier of English football, having been promoted from League One in 2016. The club was founded in 1885 as Thames Ironworks, and played their first recorded match in 1887. They entered The Football League in 1920 and have competed in the top division of English football since the 1950s. Millwall have won the FA Cup once, in 1975.
