Plzen is a professional football club from the Czech Republic, currently playing in the Czech First League. Founded in 1901, the club has played in the top flight of Czech football for all but one season of its existence, and has won the Czechoslovak First League six times and the Czech Republic Cup twice. They also reached the European Cup Winners’ Cup final in 1976, losing to Dutch club Feyenoord Rotterdam.
