Polkowice, formerly known as Gwardia Polkowice, are a professional Polish football club based in Polkowice, Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The club was founded in 1921 and played its first competitive match in the 1938–39 season. The team has played in the Ekstraklasa since 1956, and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2003–04.
