FC
Roskilde FC is a Danish football club located in Roskilde. The club was formed on 10 October 1910, as a merger of two local clubs, Helsingør FK and Roskilde Boldklub. Roskilde won its first Danish championship in 1937, and also captured the Danish Cup in 1954 and 1985. The club also reached the Danish Cup Final in 1974, 1984, and 1988, but never managed to lift the trophy. Roskilde has also participated in the UEFA Champions League three times, in 2002, 2005, and 2007. The club’s home ground is the Viking Stadion.
