Valenciennes is one of the oldest football clubs in France and is also one of the most popular. The club has a large and passionate fanbase, which is famous for its passionate support of the team and its passionate chants. Valenciennes FC has had a lot of success over the years, winning a number of trophies including the French cup in 1946 and the Coupe de France in 1957.
