Sp. Luqueno

Sport Club Luqueno is a professional football club based in Asuncion, Paraguay. It was originally founded in 1947 and has since gone on to become one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Paraguay. The club is currently competing in the top division of the Paraguayan football league, the Primera Division.

The club has a long and storied history of success, having won the top division of the Paraguayan football league 13 times. The club is also well known for its strong tradition of youth development, having developed a number of world class footballers. Notable players who have represented Sp. Luqueno over the years include José Luís Chilavert, José Cardozo, Lucas Barrios, and Paolo Maldini.

The club is based at the Nicolas Leoz Stadium, a large stadium which accommodates up to 40,000 spectators. The club also have a wide network of supporters who regularly attend home matches, with the atmosphere always proving to be electric.

The current coach of the team is José Domingo Omar Torrico, who is a vastly experienced manager who has managed numerous teams in South America. He has brought the club much success and Sp. Luqueno will be looking to push on and win more trophies under his leadership in the years to come.
