AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon, commonly referred to as Wimbledon, is an English football club based in Wimbledon, south-west London. The club was founded on 18 July 1889 as Wimbledon Football Club, and played its early years in the London Football League. Wimbledon won the FA Cup in 1908 and established themselves as a fully professional club in 1912. The club played in the top division of English football until 1989, when they were relegated to the second division. They have since returned to the top division, and reached the FA Cup Final in 2002 and 2007.
