Arouca

Arouca Football Club, commonly known as Arouca, is a Portuguese football club based in the city of Arouca. Founded on 14 October 1914, the club plays in the Primeira Liga, the top tier of Portuguese football. The club’s home stadium is the Estádio Municipal de Arouca, which has a current capacity of 10,000 spectators. Arouca have played in the top tier of Portuguese football for all but 3 of their 91 seasons since 1958. In 1998, they were promoted to the Portuguese Superliga, marking their first and only season in that league. The club also reached the final of the Taça de Portugal in 1957,1968, and 1992.
