Atalanta

Located in the Italian city of Bergamo, Atalanta Football Club is one of the country’s most successful football clubs, with a long and proud history. Formed in 1906, Atalanta has been competing in the Italian top flight league, Serie A, since its inception in 1929. The club’s most successful period came in the 1990s, when it won the Serie A title three times, as well as the Coppa Italia, the Italian Cup, and the Supercoppa Italiana. However, the club’s fortunes have since declined, culminating in its relegation from Serie A in 2016. Nonetheless, Atalanta remains a popular and successful club, and its fanbase remains sizeable and dedicated.
