Basaksehir Football Club, also known simply as Basaksehir, is an Eskişehir-based professional football club that competes in the Turkish Süper Lig. They were founded in 2004 and play their home games at the Basaksehir Spor Kulübü Stadium. Basaksehir are one of the most successful clubs in Turkey, having won the Turkish Cup, Turkish Super Cup and the Turkish Club Championship on four occasions between 2009 and 2016. The club also made it to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2016, losing to Atlético Madrid. Basaksehir’s nickname is the Blue Foxes.
