Brisbane Roar Football Club is an Australian professional football club which competes in the A-League and is the current reigning champion. The club was formed in 1996 as a result of a merger between Brisbane Saints and Brisbane Lions. The Roar has played its home matches at Suncorp Stadium since 2005. The club’s motto is “E Pluribus Unum” and its colours are maroon and gold.
