Mitre 10 is a football club from the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The team played in the first division of Argentine football from 1912 to 1924, when it was relegated to the second division. Mitre 10 returned to first division play in 1949, and has been in the top division ever since. Mitre 10 has never won the Argentine championship, but has been runners-up twice. The club’s biggest accomplishment has been winning the Copa Sudamericana twice (1991 and 2006). Mitre 10 plays its home games at the Railyard in the city of Buenos Aires.
