Deinze Football Club, nicknamed “the Lions” because of their lion crest and traditional club colours, is a Belgian professional football club based in the city of Deinze. Deinze plays in the Belgian First Division A. In 1994, the club reached the final of the Belgian Cup, which they lost 1–0 to Standard Liège. The club also reached the final of the Belgian League Cup in 1989 and the final of the Belgian Supercup in 1995.
