El Ismaily Football Club is a professional Egyptian football club based in Alexandria. The club was formed in 1933 and played its first competitive match in 1938. The club is currently competing in the Egyptian Premier League, the top tier of the Egyptian football league system.
El Ismaily play their home matches at the 30,000-seat Mersa Matruh Stadium. The club’s honours include three Egyptian Premier League titles (1968, 1971, 1980), two Egyptian Cup titles (1994, 2001), and four Super Cup titles (1974, 1995, 2004, 2006). El Ismaily is also the current runners-up of the CAF Champions League, having been runners-up in the 2007 and 2013 editions of the tournament.
The club’s traditional crest is a green and white checkerboard pattern, with the words “El Ismaily” written in Arabic script above the crest. The club’s current president is Hazem El-Naggar.
