Estrela da Amadora is a football club located in Amadora, Portugal. The club was founded in 1919 and currently plays in the LigaPro, the fourth tier of Portuguese football. Estrela da Amadora has played in the top flight of Portuguese football on two occasions, in 1961 and in 1966. In the 1961–62 season, they finished in fifth place, qualifying for the UEFA Cup. They were knocked out by Spanish club Atlético Madrid in the first round. In the 1966–67 season, Estrela da Amadora finished in third place, qualifying for the European Cup. They were eliminated in the first round by S.S.C. Napoli.
