Future FC

Future FC is a multicultural football club with a focus on diversity and inclusion. The club was founded in 2014 by Mina Becton and Mojo Hodges. Future FC is composed of youth and adult players who come from a variety of backgrounds, including Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Southeast Asian-descended backgrounds. The club’s motto is “Building Blocks of Success”, and its objective is to promote social and emotional well-being through playing football. Future FC is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all players and members, and strives to build strong relationships with local communities. In 2017, Future FC partnered with the Toronto Blue Jays to create a football academy for underprivileged youth in Scarborough.
