Genk U23 is a Belgian football club based in the city of Genk. The club was founded in 1949 and competes in the Pro League, the top tier of Belgian football. Genk has played in the top division of Belgian football for all but one season since its establishment. The club’s most successful period was the early 1990s, when it won four league titles. Since the early 2000s, the club has struggled to maintain its top-flight status, failing to win a league title in over a decade. Genk’s main rival is Anderlecht.
