Haras El Hodood is a football club from the town of Hodood, in the governorate of Musa al-Gharbi, in southern Iraq. The club was founded in 1939, and played its first competitive match the following year. They reached the Iraqi FA Cup final in 1954, but lost to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
The club’s highest achievement came in 2006, when they reached the Iraqi Premier League title final. They were defeated 2–1 by Al-Zawraa. In 2009, they finished second in the league, but were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Iraqi Cup. Haras El Hodood have also competed in the Iraqi Club Championship, but have never won the competition.
The club’s colours are green and white.
