The club has a long and illustrious history, playing in the European Cup and UEFA Champions League, as well as several domestic cup competitions. Istanbul’s biggest club, Galatasaray, also compete in the Super Lig, making the derby games between the two clubs some of the most anticipated in Turkish football. With a strong squad and exciting new arrivals, Istanbulspor are out to make an impact in their maiden season in the Super Lig.
