Jong AZ

Jong AZ is a Dutch football club from the city of Alkmaar. The club was founded on 16 October 1899 and competes in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. The club’s traditional home ground is the De Meer Stadion, but they have also played at the larger Amsterdam ArenA. The club’s best ever season was in 1988 when they finished fourth in the Eredivisie. In the 2006–07 season, Jong AZ reached the Dutch Cup final but lost 3–1 to PSV.
