Kasimpasa is a football club based in Istanbul, Turkey. The club was formed in 1983 and played its first competitive match in 1984. Kasimpasa joined the Turkish Second Division in the 1984–85 season and finished the season in second place. The club then played in the Turkish Second Division for six seasons until they were promoted to the Turkish First Division in the 1993–94 season. The club played in the Turkish First Division for six seasons until they were relegated to the Turkish Second Division in the 2002–03 season. Kasimpasa then played in the Turkish Second Division for six seasons until they were promoted to the Turkish First Division in the 2007–08 season. The club played in the Turkish First Division for four seasons until they were relegated to the Turkish Second Division in the 2011–12 season. Kasimpasa then played in the Turkish Second Division for four seasons until they were promoted to the Turkish First Division in the 2014–15 season. The club played in the Turkish First Division for two seasons until they were relegated to the Turkish Second Division in the 2016–17 season.
