Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is an association football club from Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, founded on 26 August 1924. The club plays in the Liga Nacional, the top tier of Spanish football. The team plays its home matches at the Gran Canaria Stadium, which has a capacity of 27,000. Las Palmas is one of the most successful clubs in Spanish football, having won a total of 53 titles, including 36 La Liga titles, 10 Copa del Rey titles and 5 UEFA Cup titles.
