The football club Mirandes was founded in 1912. The club currently competes in the Segunda División B, the third tier of Spanish football. Mirandes have played in the top flight of Spanish football on three occasions: 1961–62, 1965–66, and 1984–85. Mirandes play their home games at the Estadio de Vallecas, which has a capacity of 16,000.
