MK Dons Football Club is a professional association football club located in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. The team play in League One, the fourth tier of English football. Nicknamed The Dons, the club was formed in 1912 as Wimbledon Football Club, but changed its name to MK Dons in 2004. Wimbledon F.C. was their first football club. MK Dons play their home games at Stadium MK, which has a capacity of 30,000. The club’s greatest achievement was winning the FA Cup in 1923. Dons also reached the final of the League Cup in 2003 and 2005.
