OFI Crete

OFI Crete is a Greek football club based in the city of Heraklion. The club was founded in 1893 and played its first ever competitive match in the 1897 championship where they finished in seventh position. After spending their first 90 years playing in the lower divisions of Greek football, the club reached the Greek top flight for the first time in 1977. The club enjoyed moderate success in the top flight, finishing in the top four on three occasions, but they have never managed to win the Greece Cup. The club most recently had a spell in the second tier of Greek football between 2008 and 2010. In total, OFI Crete have played 380 competitive matches, scoring 306 goals and conceding 207.
