Pisa, founded in 1132, is an historic and prestigious football club. The club was formed by students of the University of Pisa, and currently plays in the Serie A, the top division of Italian football. Pisa has won the Coppa Italia 5 times, the Italian championship once, and the Supercoppa Italiana once. The club has also won the prestigious UEFA Europa League once. The most well-known player from Pisa is Marco Tardelli, who spent his entire career with the club.
