Queen’s Park Football Club, often abbreviated to QP, is a Scottish football club based in Glasgow. The club was formed in 1884 and played its first official game in November 1886. Queen’s Park has played in the Scottish Cup every year since its first competition in 1892 and has reached the final on four occasions, most recently in 2016. The club has also reached three other Scottish Cup finals, in 1897, 1913 and 1985. Queen’s Park played in European competition for the first time in 1923, when it reached the third round of the Taça de Portugal. In 1955, Queen’s Park reached the European Cup semi-finals, which was the club’s best performance to date in Europe. The club played in the Intertoto Cup in 2002 and reached the final, which it lost to Feyenoord.
