RWDM is a football club from the city of Praia, on the north-east coast of Cape Verde. The club was founded in 1951 and currently plays in the National Championships, the top football league in the country. RWDM has never made it past the preliminary round of the National Championships.
The club’s biggest success was winning the National Championships in 1979 and 1980. RWDM also made it to the final of the Inter-Club Cup in 1974 and 1985.
RWDM play their home games at the Estádio Municipal Rui Silva. The stadium has a capacity of 2,000.
