Sonderjyske FK is a Danish football club, based in Aarhus. The club was founded in 1912 and played its first competitive game in 1915. The club played in the Danish Football League from 1915 to 1932 and from 1984 to 1988. In 2004, the club merged with Brøndby IF, with Sonderjyske FK becoming the reserve team of Brøndby IF. In 2006, the club was relegated from the Danish Superliga. In the 2007–08 season, the club had its best season in the Danish Superliga and qualified for the UEFA Intertoto Cup. The club was relegated from the Danish Superliga in the 2009-10 season. In the 2013-14 season, the club returned to the Danish Superliga.
