Spartak Pleven is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Pleven, which plays in the A Group of the Bulgarian First League. Spartak Plevena was founded on 30 November 1945 and made its first appearance in the Bulgarian top division in 1955. They have remained in the Bulgarian First League ever since, qualifying for the UEFA Champions League only once in their history. Spartak Pleven reached the Bulgarian Cup final in 1976, but were defeated by Levski Sofia.
