St. Albans Football Club is a football club based in the town of St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. The club is currently members of the Southern League Premier Division.
The club was founded in 1872, and played at a variety of locations in central St. Albans before moving to their current home in Willesden Road in 1898. The club won the Hertfordshire Senior Cup in 1892 and 1898. In 1920, the club joined the Hertfordshire County League. The club won the league championship in 1932, and also won the championships in 1935 and 1936. The club were founder members of the Southern League in 1947. The club were relegated from the Southern League in 1954, but were promoted back to the league in 1957. The club were relegated from the Southern League in 1961, but were promoted back to the league in 1964. In 1970, the club won the Hertfordshire County Cup. The club were relegated from the Southern League in 1985, but were promoted back to the league in 1987. The club were relegated from the Southern League in 1996, but were promoted back to the league in 1997. The club were relegated from the Southern League in 2004, but were promoted back to the league in 2005. The club were relegated from the Southern League in 2012, but were promoted back to the league in 2013.
