Toulouse

Toulouse Football Club is a French association football club founded in 1881. The club is based in the city of Toulouse and plays in Ligue 1, the top flight of French football. The club’s home ground since 1902 has been the 35,000-capacity Stade de Toulouse-Lautrec. Toulouse have won the Coupe de France twice, in 1936 and 1954, as well as the French Cup in 1928, and 1997. The club has also reached the final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup twice, in 1979 and 1984. Toulouse have a long-standing rivalry with Olympique de Marseille, with whom they contest the Les Régionales, the regional league championship.
