Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor is a professional Turkish football club based in the city of Trabzon, Turkey. Formed in 1919, Trabzonspor play in the Süper Lig, the top tier of Turkish football. The club colours are red and white. Trabzonspor have won the Turkish Cup on eight occasions, the Turkish Super Cup twice, and the Turkish League on twelve occasions. The club’s most successful season came in the 1978–79 season, when they finished in first place in the Süper Lig, and reached the semi-final of the Turkish Cup. In the 2009–10 season, Trabzonspor broke the all-time attendance record at the Trabzon Atatürk Stadium, with a total of 132,666 fans in attendance.
