Zamalek SC is a professional football club based in Cairo, Egypt. They play in the Egyptian Premier League, the top flight in the Egyptian football league system. Zamalek SC was founded in 1911 and are one of the oldest football clubs in Africa. They have won the Egyptian Premier League seven times and the Egyptian Cup six times. Zamalek SC were also runners up in the CAF Champions League in 2002 and in 2016.
