Zeledon Football Club is an Argentine football club from the city of Zeledon, province of Buenos Aires. The club was founded on 7 October 1926, and currently plays in the Primera B Metropolitana, the top division of the Argentine football league system.
Zeledon joined the Argentine second division in 1935 and in 1937, won promotion to the Primera División. Zeledon played in the Primera División until 1974, when the team was relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana. In 1988, Zeledon was promoted to the Primera B Metropolitana again, where they played until 2006. The team reached the Primera B Nacional playoffs in 2002, but were eliminated in the first round. In 2006, Zeledon was relegated to the Regional B Metropolitana. In 2007, the team was relegated to the Segunda División. After 9 consecutive seasons in the Segunda División, Zeledon was promoted to the Primera B Nacional in September 2013.
Zeledon play their home games at the Estadio Nacional “José Antonio Rodríguez”, which has a capacity of 27,000.
