Al Qadisiya

Al Qadisiya FC is a professional football club, based in the Iraqi city of Baghdad. The club competes in the Iraqi Premier League, the top tier of Iraqi football. The club was formed in 1949 and played its first competitive game in 1950. Al Qadisiya have won the Iraqi Premier League on three occasions (1975, 2001, 2006), as well as the Iraqi FA Cup three times (1983, 1995, 2004). The club also finished as runners-up in the Iraqi Premier League in 1995. Al Qadisiya also reached the semifinal of the AFC Champions League in 2003.
