Copiapo has been a Chilean football club for over 100 years. The club was founded on October 5, 1895. Copiapo has won the Chilean First Division six times, the Chilean Segunda División once, the Chilean Cup four times and the Chilean Super Cup once. The club’s home ground is the José I. Soto Stadium which has a capacity of 13,000.
