Fleetwood Town Football Club is a professional association football club in Fleetwood, Lancashire, England. They are currently members of the National League North, managing to finish 12th in their debut season. In 1919, Fleetwood Town were the top club in Lancashire and one of the leading clubs in the country. The team played in the Football League until 1993, when they were relegated to the Football League Fourth Division. In 2006, the club were promoted to the Football League Championship and in 2009, they were promoted to the Football League Premier League. Fleetwood Town were relegated again in 2013, but they were promoted back to the Football League Championship in 2014. The team has played at Highbury Stadium since their establishment in 1910.
