Hereford United Football Club is a football club based in the town of Hereford in Herefordshire, England. The club was founded in 1887, and played its first game in the Southern League in 1889. The club first reached the Football League in 1920, and played in the Second Division for most of the following seventy years. The club achieved promotion to the First Division in 2006, and has been in the Premier League since 2007.
