Peterborough Sports Club are a football club based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. They are currently members of the National League North, the fifth tier of English football. The club was formed in 1881 and played their first competitive match in the FA Cup the following year. They reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in 1924, and the semi-finals in 1927 and 1988. The club also reached the first round of the FA Cup in 1932 and 1949. In 1955 the club won the FA Amateur Cup. They reached the final of the FA Vase in 1986, and the first round of the FA Cup in 1988. In 2004 the club won the FA Trophy.
