Ponferradina Football Club is an Italian football club based in Ponferradina, Naples. The club was formed in 1922 and currently plays in Serie C, the third tier of the Italian football league system. Ponferradina has spent most of its history in Serie C; in the 2006–07 season, they achieved promotion to Serie B. The club has never played in the top flight of Italian football.
