Watford Football Club is a professional football club based in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. The team plays in the Premier League, the top flight of English football. Watford was formed in 1881 as Watford Rovers, and played its first organized football match in 1882. The club reached the FA Cup final in 1936, but lost to Arsenal. Watford reached the final again in 2006, this time losing to Manchester United.
